Well with Self Help comes introspection and I have had plenty of that this week. While I have not made great progress on the Coldbox based Sales Management and Issue Resolution modules, what I have accomplished has been a great change in how I am doing things. Normally

when I start a project I will cheat a little in the prototyping. Sometimes I don't use query params or don't do the proper form checking, but have the full intention of going back and correcting these little shortcuts. That never happens.

Well, NO MORE. I won't be that guy. I will take my time and from the beginning be more thorough and complete. This may seem like a little thing that is easy to do, but breaking those habits can be tough. So as I work on what I hope to be a solid robust open source project I pledge to you that I will break my bad habits.

This brings me to the reason I came to this realization. As I have been learning Coldbox and more importantly MVC methodology, I have discovered what I consider a lack of beginner help with Coldbox. Luis and Sana please don't take offense you both have been a great help getting me going. There are samples, but no real explanation and there are great docs for the API but nothing to really get me started.

So I am hoping to find some time as I write this first app to write up some tutorials for someone that has very little to no MVC experience on how to use Coldbox.
