BlogCFC, Spry and iPhone

Jul 16 by Michael Benner

Unbelievable. iSafari (my name for Safari on the iPhone) does not work with BlogCFC. Now, I am going to make a great assumption here and say that it is because of Ray's implementation of Spry and that it is Spry that is causing this problem.

But until I get a chance to figure out if this is indeed the case and can find a work around don't try post articles to blogCFC from your iPhone in the Houston Airport when you plane has been struck by lightning and is being checked for air worthiness.

Michael Long's Gravatar Popups? I'd think JavaScript-based popup windows would be a bad thing...

Michael Benner's Gravatar It is not popups. It is the tabbed pane. When entering a new post there are tabs and it appears the tabs do not work in iSafari. These tabs are of the Spry variety. I am hoping to get some Spry testing in on some of my sites I have built with the iPhone and confirm the issue.

Jared Rypka-Hauer's Gravatar Awwww... ain't that sweet?

And I can be of no assistance with the Spry/iPhone issue other than to throw shoes at you for having one when I don't. :)

Michael Benner's Gravatar Well, I have reported it to Ray and it has been passed on to the Spry Team. I updated the phone yesterday, but all that did was fix some security flaws, no JS updates, so no Spry. But at least I have some new shoes to show for my efforts.

Estetik's Gravatar I'm guessing the only way to do this in Javascript would be to use the onresize event, and then using the resizeTo method to attempt to keep the window at the size you want?
