So other than the fact I have pretty much slept from 630PM Monday night until now due to a nice little bug my daughter brought home from school, things have been well. I had a great Thanksgiving with the family. My brother in law and his girlfriend came over with my in-laws and other than a nice dinner we also broke out

the video games.

I have to say this was the first time I saw the true value in our Wii. It was a hit. We played Baseball, Golf, Bowling, etc. We also spent hours recreating the whole family as Miis. Some of them are so accurate it is scary. But, after the kids went to sleep, we broke out the big guns.

Motorstorm got a lot of play from the PS3, but when Gears of War got put on, everybody got quiet and that game was played for hours. The next morning while I made some breakfast, my brother in law broke out Guitar Hero and we played that all morning. Then we spent the afternoon playing Halo 3. That evening he borrowed one of my 360's and took it to his Mom's to beat Gears of War.

While all that gaming is uncharacteristic of us, it was interesting to see what got played and how much. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE played the Wii. We cleared the room of obstacles and had a great time. And while I found Halo 3 much more enjoyable with a coop partner it still does not hold a candle to Gears of War, which in my opinion is still the BEST FPS out there.

Going to bed now, will post more tomorrow. But in the meantime how did you spend your Thanksgiving?
