I had a rather odd situation pop up today. I went to apply the hot fix to one of my CF servers that is using CFDocument pretty heavily and experiencing some of the problems. I downloaded the file, I

read the instructions twice and I fired up Safari. I proceed to the URL for my Admin when low and behold the username of Amin was replaced with my email address. Well for those of you that have the CF8 Admin up and running you know you can't change the username, it is a read only field. But wait, Safari changed it and I need to change it back. Stoopid Computer. I know why and how, but I am not sure how I feel about it.

One one hand Safari is making my life easier and it is the right username for every other form in that domain name. On the other hand maybe it should know that the field is read only and tell me that it can't insert because of that. Maybe Adobe should remove that field when it is not needed and cannot be changed. Until one or the other happens I will be using Firefox for my CF Admin.
